When it comes to summer fun, Saratoga County has the most to offer.  People from all over the world gather at the famous Saratoga Race Course to experience the “August place to be!”  The Saratoga Performing Arts Center has been named the best outdoor music by USA today and 10 Best readers polls, and regularly attracts premier artists like Zac Brown, Dave Matthews, Drake and many more!

Take a trip to the town of Ballston Spa, and enjoy some of the best food Saratoga County has to offer!  If you’d rather enjoy a peaceful country setting but still be close to all the action, take a look at the lovely villages of Galway, Corinth, and Stillwater!  If nature is what you seek than the abundance of lakes, mountains, and hiking trails of the Southern Adirondacks is for you!  If you are looking to satisfy that competitive drive, enjoy a round of golf, try your hand at polo, or even try some of the best disc golf courses in New York!

The scenery of Saratoga county is a sight to see.  From the gorgeous Hudson and Mohawk Rivers, the breathtaking Adirondack mountains, and the refreshing Sacandaga and Saratoga lakes, you will have a lot adventure available to you right in your backyard!

Don’t forget about the 2000 acre Saratoga Spa State Park, or the beautiful Moreau lake that lies secluded by the hardwood forests of Moreau State Park.

The Battle of Saratoga and the Making of America

The flag we pledge allegiance to, and values we all live by, and the freedoms we all enjoy here in the United States would never have been possible without the monumental victory of George Washington and the Continental army had it not been for the battle of Saratoga.  The site of the Revolutionary War’s’ Turning point is just a few miles east of Saratoga Springs in the town of Schuylerville. Take a walk through American history at Saratoga National Park and you will learn about the battle, and experience the sights and sounds during one of the parks exciting reenactments!
