2015 County by County Statistics

With 2015 officially in the books we can go back through the data and see how sales went for the past year. By knowing what the numbers were for the past year it can help both buyers and sellers have insight on how the market may perform going forward. All statistics are from the Greater Capital Association of Realtors. These statistics are for Single Family homes. You will see that the % sold plus the % expired will not equal 100%. This is because some of the homes are still actively on the market or are sale pending and have not closed yet.

Saratoga County: There were 4,988 homes listed and 2,753 sold making the sold percentage 55.19%. The average sales price was $299,883. The average list price of homes that sold was $304,950. The list to sales price ratio was 98.34%. 23.1% of homes expired off the market.

Fulton County: There were 714 homes listed and 401 sold making the sold percentage 56.16%. The average sales price was $132,768. The average list price of homes that sold was $140,640. The list to sales price ratio was 94.40%. 36.69% of homes expired off the market.

Montgomery County: There were 490 homes listed and 261 sold making the sold percentage 53.27%. The average sales price was $108,672. The average list price of homes that sold was $115,769. The list to sales price ratio was 93.87%. 32.04% of homes expired off the market.

Schenectady County: There were 2,940 homes listed and 1,556 sold making the sold percentage 52.93%. The average sales price was $169,776. The average list price of homes that sold was $174,539. The list to sales price ratio was 97.27%. 27.79% of homes expired off the market.

Albany County: There were 4,507 homes listed and 2,718 sold making the sold percentage 60.31%. The average sales price was $239,506. The average list price of homes that sold was $243,388. The list to sales price ratio was 98.41%. 24.76% of homes expired off the market.

Rensselaer County: There were 2,329 homes listed and 1,229 sold making the sold percentage 52.77%. The average sales price was $182,168. The average list price of homes that sold was $187,801. The list to sales price ratio was 97%. 29.84% of homes expired off the market.
